Something about me...
"With my work I try to return, in another form, the beautiful things that I was lucky enough to admire and that I never stopped looking for even as an adult, even now. I use my goldsmith's lens to observe history and the beauty of Italy but also to go beyond places and things and discover the less visible charm of the soul and thoughts. "
How was your brand born?
It was born of an intuition, like all things in my life, looking at berries and snails in my childhood garden and thinking about giving my thoughts real forms. I attended various design courses while studying painting at the Academy of Fine Arts and then slowly I followed my instinct with a little recklessness and a lot of passion. I've always wanted to do something beautiful for myself and for others. Even today, when I work on a new creation, I get excited.
Three adjectives to define
your jewels
Timeless, linear and handmade.
The creation you are most attached to?
The no stress ring: a mix of design and technique. I made the first ring in copper, as a bet with my goldsmith master who did not believe it could work, then I combined it with colored stones. It is comfortable to carry and fun because it rotates. It has an added value: it is not a commercial ring because you cannot change the size, it must be made to the right size every time.
Projects for the future?
I am projected towards foreign marketplaces but there will certainly be a return to meetings in the Atelier and to human contact. I love talking to people and personally describing the work I do, especially the bespoke jewels, the unique pieces where we can choose stones and materials together.
